Hillary Rodham was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in a Methodist family in Park Ridge, Illinois. His father, Hugh Ellsworth Rodham, a conservative, was an executive in the textile industry, and his mother, Dorothy Emma Howell Rodham, a homemaker. Hillary has two brothers, Hugh and Tony. Graduated from Yale Law School in 1973, he moved to Arkansas in 1974 and later married Bill Clinton in 1975. He then became the first female partner at Rose Law Firm in 1979 and twice listed as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America. From 1979 to 1981 and 1981 to 1992 he was Governor of Arkansas and she is active in several organizations associated with the welfare of children and a board member of Wal-Mart and several other companies.

As First Lady of the United States, the Clinton health care plan that is the biggest initiative approved by the Congress failed in 1994. In 1997 and 1999, Clinton played a role in the formation Asurasi Program Kids Health State (State Children's Health Insurance Program), Adoption Act and Family Safety (Adoption and Safe Families Act), and Autonomy Law Family Farm (Foster Care Independence Act). In 1996, he was ordered to testify before a jury due Whitewater controversy. He was never charged with any or several other investigations during her husband's presidency. The condition of her marriage to Bill Clinton became public attention after the disclosure of Lewinsky scandal in 1998.

After moving to New York, Clinton was elected senator in New York State in 2000 to become the first former First Lady who won election to an office in the U.S.. In the Senate, she initially supported the George W. Bush on some foreign policy, including providing his voice in support of the Iraq War Resolution approving the execution of the Iraq War. He then turned against the government's actions in the Iraq war and also opposed the Bush administration's policies in almost all domestic issues. He was re-elected as a senator with a landslide victory in 2006. On January 20, 2007 he officially declared himself to participate in presidential elections the United States in 2008. In American presidential elections are, Clinton won more primaries and delegates than any other women throughout U.S. history, but after a long campaign, Senator Barack Obama became the Democratic candidate elected in June 2008.

On January 22, 2009 Hillary Clinton was sworn in as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United States.
