Obama's visit to Prime Asia

In the first visit to Asia, Obama talked about the position and status of economic, political, and security of East Asia for the United States. On that occasion, Obama was also a bit telling of his childhood in Indonesia. After she divorced Obama's biological father, his mother Ann Dunham married Lolo Soetoro and his family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia. Obama later attended St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School in Tebet for three years and then moved to SD Negeri 1 Menteng (or SD Besuki) in Menteng until he was 10 years old.
In this trip, Obama tried to suggest that he had a unique view of the Asian region and different from its predecessors. Before this, the U.S. is more focused on regional security issues of East Asia and China try to prevent the influence in the region by placing the troops in Japan and South Korea and giving political and military support to Taiwan.
During his stay in Asia, Obama insisted that the U.S. does not view China as a competitor and did not look at Japan and South Korea as a U.S. military base in East Asia. This superpower puts about 90 thousand troops in Japan and South Korea.
U.S. interest to the countries of East Asia came after the economic and political developments in the region in two decades ago. Based on economic indicators, the countries of East Asia has become the economic pole in the world. Japan, China, and South Korea are in the first world economic power. By looking at economic development in Asia, the center of world economic growth was shifted from Europe and the United States to the countries of East Asia.
A number of East Asian countries achieved economic growth rates approaching 10 percent. A growth that can be said is like a dream, even for developed countries of Europe and America. Growth of three or four percent of the ideal conditions for the U.S. and European countries. Distance is significant at the level of economic growth among the new powers in East Asia with the U.S. and Europe indicate the size of the economic capacity of countries in the region to become the economic pole in the future world.
In between some countries in East Asia, Japan must we separate from the other countries in the region. Before the outbreak of World War II, Japan has economic and political potential of a very large and play the role of the imperialist countries. Sakura country is surrendered after the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and forced to willingly become a political base and the U.S. military in East Asia.
Japanese government in addition to prioritize economic growth and development, in foreign policy and regional, country following suit U.S. policy. Within this policy framework, Japan received placement nearly 50 thousand U.S. troops in Okinawa despite having a negative impact on social and moral aspects.

Now, Japan as a close U.S. ally in the region are working to play an independent role and in accordance with its economic capacity in the world arena of political balance. Japanese parliamentary elections recently and the defeat of the Liberal Democratic party after 50 years in power, is a sign of the beginning of the process of reviewing the Tokyo foreign policy after 60 years of follow Washington.
Next year is a moment to review the security agreement between Japan and the U.S. 50-year-old. Nationalist Prime Minister of Japan, Yukio Hatoyama wants review of political and security cooperation with the United States. Basically, Obama's policy changes in East Asia driven by the transformation in the region.
In a visit to China, Obama insisted that the U.S. does not view China as a competitor, but partners. This statement is influenced by economic and political position of the State Bamboo Curtain in the regional and global levels. Increasing political and economic capabilities of China increasingly sharpening competition in East Asia. This is what threatens U.S. influence in the region.
Participatory and cooperative policies Obama with the countries of East Asia aims to prevent fading U.S. influence in the strategic region of the world. Through this policy, President of the United States intended to draw sympathy for the countries in the region to follow the U.S. arrogant policy. Basically, Obama's administration reached out to prevent the decline of friendship influence in the region.
Along with the motion speed of pursuing economic growth and development, the countries of East Asia still working up to avoid conflict with the United States. But now, the countries in the region wants an independent role in economic and political balance of the world. U.S. economic dependence on the countries of East Asia, especially China is greater than their dependence on the United States.
In the mid-century ago, the U.S. is the largest creditor nation of the world, but now the country turned into the largest debt owner. Transactions between the U.S. annual trade with China reached more than 400 billion dollars. China's trade balance surplus of about 260 billion dollars. The Chinese government has bought up nearly 800 billion dollars in debt letters USA. Purchase of debt papers it has helped the U.S. to cover its budget deficit. The countries of East Asia particularly China to play an active role in the global balance in accordance with its economic capabilities.
In order to maintain its influence in East Asia, there is no other way for the U.S. except to adjust the role of politics and security with the changes and developments in the region within the framework of multilateral cooperation.
